MARINA CAPIZZI

I had worked in various consulting contexts (Cegos, Mip, Ambrosetti, Newton, GSO Company where I was CEO). And my job roles have been as Management and Organisational Development Consultant, Human Resources Manager, Executive Coach with ICF international certification, Speaker and Author. I have been working with CEOs and top management teams for a long time.

Together with clients, I build new alternatives so as to allow the evolution of culture, people and organization. In other words, the essentials to allow the evolution of business.

Like my colleagues at PRIMATE, I draw on neuroscience and new organisational approaches: Agile, Teal, Holacracy, etc.

I love to write.

My latest book is Non morire di gerarchia, FrancoAngeli, 2023; in which I explain all hierarchy issues within work organisations and how to deal with them. I wrote it because everyone talks about leadership but no one talks about hierarchy. Indeed, hierarchy is the backbone of our organisations. We keep on having old hierarchical structures that were more suitable for the past, but the evolution of the current hierarchical structure will be one of the most important challengse that organisations will have to face in the coming years.

I have published numerous articles about management mainly for Gruppo24Ore publishing group and Il salto di qualità dei numeri uno, Gruppo24ORE, 2013, with a preface by Meo Martini, President of Assolombarda.

I signed with Tiziano Capelli…

  • The preface to the Italian edition “Right Kind of Wrong” (in Italian “Il Giusto Errore”), A. Edmondson, Egea, 2024. Through scientific evidence and stories from different worlds -from pop culture to business- Amy Edmondson explains how to replace the shame and guilt associated with failure with a passion for vulnerability, curiosity, and personal growth.
  • The preface to the Italian edition of “Sense&Respond”, J. Gothelf and J. Seiden, Harvard Business Review Press, gueriniNEXT, 2018. In your opinion, does the “planning&control” approach create a lot of frustration for you? It’s ok, don’t worry. This feeling belongs to a past era of humanity. So, this could be the alternative for continuously learning from the future.
  • The preface to “The Fearless Organizations” (in Italian “Organizzazioni senza Paura”), A. Edmondson, FrancoAngeli, 2020. What do organizations need to achieve outperformance? High standards and psychological safety! With this book, the costs that usually organisations pay because of fear finally become a topic for strategic thinking and operational actions.
  • Non Morire di Riunioni“, FrancoAngeli, 2020 – “Surviving Meetings”, FrancoAngeli, 2022. Are you tired of meetings as they happen, and the way of working that fuels them? Do you care about your own health and the health of your business? In this case, this book is for you! There is a new method, TheMeetingCircle, that derives from neuroscience, and it illustrates new organizational approaches, and our direct experience in the field.

Putting together all these dots, they could all of us to a industrial cultural revolution, that is a completely different way of doing business, where the well-being of business is fuelled by the well-being of people.

And I admit that I am keen on choosing ‘places’ where supply and demand come across each other.

In my opinion, these are vital places for business, where people can find the core purpose of why they do their jobs.
I write, think and develop new ideas with customers: indeed, I strongly believe that we can evolve together.

And, only together, we finally do.
