LIA PIANO
Born and raised in a family of architects and builders, in 2004 I was one of the creators of the Renzo Piano Foundation, of which I am now Director.
Through the Foundation I have organised scholarships, workshops, exhibitions, awards and publications, promoting the idea (and the practice) of architecture as the art of building. I edited and published a monographic series of eight volumes, dedicated to iconic buildings designed by Renzo Piano.
I published my first book with Bompiani, Planimetria di una famiglia felice.
Convinced of the power of interdisciplinarity and contamination, in PRIMATE with Marina Capizzi, I accompany companies’ evolutionary projects with the tools of storytelling.
